IoT Engineer – OBC, Telecom & R&D

About the role

We are looking for an IoT Engineer to support and evolve our On‑Board Computer (OBC) ecosystem, covering telecom, hardware, MDM and related applications. The role combines day‑to‑day user support with participation in R&D projects and proof‑of‑concept initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for administrative users and drivers, handling requests, incidents and questions related to OBC components.
• Assess, prioritize and escalate issues that cannot be resolved at Level 1, ensuring proper hand‑over to Level 3 or external partners.
• Document and formalize resolution procedures so the Level 1 team can address recurring problems.
• Maintain up‑to‑date technical documentation and log all activities in the ticketing system.
• Participate in technical evolutions, project delivery and R&D activities, including proof‑of‑concept work with external suppliers.
• Provide training to end‑users and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in IT or Industrial Engineering.
• Analytical, pragmatic and strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Curious, autonomous and driven to innovate.
• Fluent in English and French; German is a plus.

Required skills

• Experience with OBC, IoT or M2M environments (considered an asset).
• Programming knowledge, preferably Python, JavaScript and SQL.
