Internship - Fund Operation Oversight

About the role

ING Solutions Investment Management (ISIM), a subsidiary of ING Belgium and ING Luxembourg, is looking for a Fund Operations Oversight Trainee to join from 1 January 2027 for at least six months. ISIM manages investment funds distributed by several ING entities across Europe and has over 35 employees. Only students who can provide a valid internship agreement (school convention) will be considered.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the oversight and control of delegated functions (Fund Administration and Depositary)
• Review and analyse KPIs and KRIs of the funds, including monthly reviews and exception reports from delegates
• Review reconciliations between fund records and custodian records
• Monitor stale and manual prices
• Take part in monthly meetings with delegates and draft the minutes
• Review draft annual accounts and other fund reporting
• Assist in preparing Board meetings and oversee coordination of the fund corporate life cycle (shareholder general meetings, board circular resolutions)
• Verify and check financial statements and perform other administrative tasks
• Support operational tasks of the ManCo when needed

Required profile

• Studies in Economics or Finance
• Fluency in French and English; knowledge of other languages is an asset
• Flexible, eager to learn and a team player

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Word and Excel
