Account Manager Internship – Private Banking

About the role

ING Luxembourg is looking for a motivated intern to join its Personal Banking teams as an Account Manager Intern, starting in January 2027. The internship takes place in a global financial group in a vibrant, diverse and entrepreneurial atmosphere, with collaboration across departments such as Portfolio Management and Compliance. Only students who can provide a valid internship agreement (school convention) will be considered.

Key responsibilities

• Data analysis: collect, clean and analyse financial and market data in Excel, identify trends and provide insights for decision-making
• Reporting and presentation: prepare PowerPoint summaries of key findings and assist in preparing internal meeting materials
• Market strategy support: take part in discussions on the local market strategy and research competitors and trends
• Commercial target preparation: help define and prepare targets and support the team in updating and validating target lists
• Performance monitoring: track and update KPI dashboards and follow up commercial targets and progress reports
• Daily support to Private Bankers: client follow-up, documentation and meeting materials, and contribution to business development and client acquisition in their portfolios

Required profile

• Master's student in Finance, Economics or Marketing
• Fluent French and English
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Good time management and prioritisation, curious and proactive

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Presentation skills
