Innovation Operations Lead

About the role

The Innovation Operations Lead will support and coordinate the execution of innovation initiatives defined by the Innovation & Partnerships Director. Working within BCE’s Technology & Innovation Department, the role bridges cross‑functional teams to drive AI‑enabled projects, prototype development, and experimentation aligned with the company’s digital transformation roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, support and coordinate innovation initiatives and workshops.
• Organise and facilitate squads, cross‑functional experimentation, and AI enablement activities.
• Track actions, deliverables, milestones and outcomes of experiments.
• Contribute to proofs‑of‑concept, lightweight prototypes and testing activities.
• Support user research, problem exploration and innovation discovery.
• Prepare documentation, synthesis material and decision‑support inputs for governance.
• Maintain innovation repositories, reusable assets and knowledge‑sharing materials.
• Interact with startups, partners and research actors to ensure operational follow‑up.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Innovation, Technology, Media, Business, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in innovation, project coordination, technology initiatives or digital transformation.
• Strong interest in AI, emerging technologies and innovation methodologies.
• Ability to coordinate cross‑functional activities and work with multiple stakeholders.
• Structured, analytical mindset with strong organisational skills.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and documentation capabilities.
• Hands‑on, proactive and solution‑oriented personality.
• Team‑minded with strong collaboration skills.
