Head of PMO

About the role

Luxtrust is seeking a motivated and driven Head of PMO to lead the governance of its project and programme portfolio during a major strategic transformation. Reporting directly to the CIO, the role acts as a central orchestrator between strategy, execution, regulatory constraints and delivery capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Define, implement and continuously improve the PMO governance framework, including processes, committees, reporting and KPIs.
• Manage the project and programme portfolio: prioritisation, arbitration, dependency mapping and capacity planning.
• Ensure alignment of initiatives with business, R1D and regulatory strategy.
• Prepare and facilitate Steering Committees, Programme Boards and Executive Committees.
• Monitor performance (budget, timeline, scope, quality, risks) and drive value‑focused delivery and benefits realisation.
• Establish enterprise‑level risk management for IT programmes and escalate major delivery, compliance and resourcing risks.
• Support change management and readiness for deployment of major initiatives.
• Select, implement and operate PPM tools, dashboards and reporting frameworks.

Required profile

• Motivated and driven professional ready to take ownership of PMO governance.
• Experience working in a highly regulated, security‑critical environment.
• Strong strategic mindset with the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders.

Required skills

• Waterfall project management methodology.
• Agile and hybrid project management approaches.
• Knowledge of eIDAS, DORA, NICE and GDPR regulations.
• Proficiency with PPM (Project Portfolio Management) tools and reporting dashboards.
