Flight Operations Dispatcher – Aviation Control Officer

About the role

Luxembourg Air Services is seeking motivated Flight Operations Dispatchers to join its Operations Control Centre. You will support air‑rescue and air‑ambulance missions by coordinating flight plans, handling dispatch requests and ensuring safe, efficient aircraft movements.

Key responsibilities

• Answer general requests from organ‑transport and air‑ambulance teams.
• Check weather, NOTAMs and provide daily aircraft availability.
• Prepare and file company flight plans using PPS and manage re‑routing, delays or diversions.
• Request ATC and airport slots, over‑flight and landing permits.
• Dispatch and optimise the fleet, liaise with partners, and provide 24‑hour flight following.
• Brief crews and deliver movement messages to clients.

Required profile

• Aviation experience with strong knowledge of flight‑plan routing (PPS, NOTAM, weather forecasts, FPL, LEON).
• Fluent written and spoken French and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Trustworthy, honest, business‑oriented and able to work both independently and in a team.
• Willingness to relocate within one hour of Luxembourg Airport.
