Flight Operations Dispatcher – Air Rescue & Ambulance

About the role

Join Luxembourg Air Services, the Operations Control Centre of Luxembourg Air Rescue Group, as a Flight Operations Dispatcher. You will support a fleet of rescue helicopters and air‑ambulance jets, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely missions for organ transport, air‑ambulance services, and other critical flights.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for the Organ Transport Team, handling requests, daily availability, and aircraft allocation.
• Perform weather and NOTAM checks, provide flight briefings, and generate movement messages for clients.
• Dispatch and optimise the fleet, liaise with partners, and manage sales enquiries for air‑ambulance services.
• Prepare flight plans using PPS, manage re‑routing, diversions, and delay handling.
• Request ATC and airport slots, obtain over‑flight and landing permits, and conduct crew briefings.
• Monitor flights 24 hours a day, ensuring compliance with regulations and customer expectations.

Required profile

• Aviation experience with strong flight‑plan routing knowledge (PPS, NOTAM, weather forecasts, FPL, Léon).
• Trustworthy, honest, business‑oriented and aligned with company values.
• Team‑oriented yet capable of independent work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in French and English; additional languages are a plus.
