Financial Controller (m/f)

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Controller to join a European investment management firm with over €500 million in assets under management. Reporting directly to the COO, you will work across fund operations, finance, and process improvement within a lean, entrepreneurial team.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily fund operations for UCITS, AIF, and life‑insurance structures, investigating breaks and performing cash, position, and transaction reconciliations.
• Coordinate with external fund administrators, custodians, and service providers for NAV production and onboarding of new mandates.
• Support finance activities for entities in Luxembourg, France, and Switzerland, including treasury monitoring, expense tracking, budgeting, reporting, and audit coordination.
• Strengthen operational controls, automate manual workflows, and collaborate with IT to implement efficiency‑enhancing tools.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of experience in middle office, fund administration, accounting, or finance operations.
• Strong understanding of investment funds, solid accounting fundamentals, and excellent problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent French and good command of English.
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of responsibilities.
