Finance Accounting & Reporting Intern

About the role

ING Luxembourg is looking for an intern in Financial and Regulatory Reporting. The internship starts in February 2027 and lasts at least 6 months. Only students who can provide a valid internship agreement (school convention) will be considered.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in the monthly, quarterly and yearly closings
• Contribute to data quality controls and daily reconciliations
• Support the team in preparing the finance and regulatory reporting package for local authorities and the group
• Collaborate with Finance, Risk and IT stakeholders on reporting and data-related projects
• Support finance transformation and digitalisation initiatives

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (Bac+4/5) with an economic or financial orientation
• Fluency in English is mandatory; French is an asset
• A first experience in the financial sector is an asset
• Well organised, able to take initiative and responsibility, with strong analytical and thinking skills
• Focused on quality and timely delivery, solution, change and customer oriented, and a team player
• Able to work autonomously in an agile and collaborative environment
• Real interest in financial institutions and corporates

• Proficiency in computer and office automation tools, in particular Word, Excel, Outlook, Copilot and PowerPoint
