Field Technician – Tires as a Service

About the role

As a Field Installation Technician you will deliver Goodyear’s Tires as a Service (TaaS) solution by installing and maintaining hardware on fleet vehicles. Your work ensures safety, performance and reliability for customers, directly influencing trust and service success.

Key responsibilities

• Install TaaS hardware on customer trucks following standards and timelines.
• Prepare, configure and test equipment before deployment.
• Perform on‑site troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs.
• Coordinate schedules with fleet managers, workshops and specialized technicians.
• Support third‑party providers during outsourced installations.
• Manage receipt, quality checks, storage and inventory of hardware.
• Maintain accurate hardware registration and plan replenishment.

Required profile

• High school diploma (engineering degree preferred).
• 3+ years of mechanical and electrical installation or repair experience.
• Hands‑on experience with tractor‑trailer trucks, telematics or tire systems.
• Strong planning, organization and attention to detail.
• Collaborative mindset with clear communication.
• Basic IT proficiency and comfort with digital tools.
• Fluency in the local language and English.
• Willingness to travel 4–7 days per week.
