Event and Community Manager – Space Resources (Maternity/Parental Leave)

About the role

We are looking for an Event and Community Manager to lead ESRIC’s community activities and communications. You will work closely with the communication teams of LSA, ESA and LIST to promote our space resources research and outreach.

Key responsibilities

• Organise the annual Space Resources Week event, coordinating partners, sponsors and the programme committee.
• Plan and execute stakeholder community‑building actions such as events and workshops.
• Manage internal and external communication for ESRIC and coordinate messaging with LIST, ESA and LSA.
• Build and sustain ESRIC’s brand and reputation.
• Maintain the ESRIC website and manage its social media accounts.
• Handle media relations and related issues.
• Create presentations and communication materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications.
• 5–10 years of experience, preferably in innovation, technology or research communication.
• Autonomous, organised, flexible and resourceful, able to handle complex topics and collaborate with multiple partners.
