Energy Manager – CHP Operations

About the role

Kronospan is seeking an experienced Energy Manager to lead the operation of three Combined Heat and Power (CHP) units. Based in Soleuvre, you will ensure optimal performance, energy balance, and continuous improvement of our production facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise structural and functional monitoring of CHP installations.
• Monitor energy balances and production efficiency of the plants.
• Adjust process and machine parameters to optimise performance.
• Coordinate repairs, maintenance and optimisation activities with the Technical Department.
• Manage and organise the work of subordinate staff, including leave, substitutions and bonuses.
• Train team members on product‑origin monitoring and ensure certification and medical compliance.
• Oversee the correctness of activities performed by the team and organise daily work schedules.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a similar energy‑management role with managerial responsibilities.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to work 100% onsite at the Soleuvre facility and to be hands‑on in the installations.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
