Data Engineer – Cloud & Databricks

About the role

You will join the Data Factory within PwC Luxembourg’s Central Data Office, a multidisciplinary team responsible for designing and operating the firm’s core data ingestion and integration platforms. The role focuses on delivering reliable, scalable data pipelines that support analytics and decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines on Databricks to ingest and transform data from diverse sources.
• Evolve and optimise data processing architectures for performance and scalability.
• Ensure high standards of data quality, monitoring, and availability in production environments.
• Contribute to the modernisation and migration of existing pipelines and tools.
• Diagnose and resolve complex data issues with sustainable solutions.
• Collaborate with analysts, IT, and business teams to deliver trusted data outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data engineering with strong hands‑on expertise in Databricks.
• Proficient in Python and/or .NET and advanced SQL for data processing.
• Experience working in Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
• Professional proficiency in English (C1) and French (C1).
• Critical thinking, clear communication, and collaborative mindset.
