Data Analyst Internship (m/f/n)

About the role

As a Data Analyst Intern you will join Enovos’ Energy Business IT team in Esch‑sur‑Alzette and support the maintenance and evolution of the company’s central data platform. You will work closely with business stakeholders to turn data needs into reliable analytical solutions while gaining hands‑on experience with data ingestion, quality checks and pipeline automation.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate data from multiple sources into the central Data Platform.
• Prepare, clean and validate data for reporting and analytics.
• Monitor and maintain existing data ingestion processes and pipelines.
• Contribute to the design and improvement of data pipelines based on business requirements.
• Document data sources, flows, models and business rules.
• Identify and troubleshoot data quality, consistency or availability issues.
• Support the creation and enhancement of datasets for dashboards and business analysis.
• Assist in automating repetitive data processing tasks under supervision.

Required profile

• Currently studying or recently graduated in computer science, data analytics, engineering, mathematics or a related field.
• Strong interest in data analysis, data management and data pipelines.
• Structured, curious, detail‑oriented and eager to learn.
• Good communication skills and fluency in English; French or German is a plus.

Required skills

• Python programming (PEP 8 compliant code preferred).
• SQL and relational database concepts.
• Familiarity with cloud data services such as Amazon S3 and Amazon Redshift.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data pipeline development.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is an advantage.
