Cyber Security Specialist – Luxembourg

About the role

We are seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to join our client’s team in Luxembourg. The role focuses on protecting the data‑centre environment, governing cloud security, and overseeing privileged access management while ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the security posture of all assets hosted in the Luxembourg data centre.
• Govern and oversee cloud‑based infrastructure and services, ensuring secure deployment and operation.
• Manage and monitor the Privileged Access Management (PAM) environment, including the CyberArk platform.
• Supervise outsourced security operations such as vulnerability management, penetration testing, firewall administration, and IDS/IPS monitoring.
• Review and approve network security changes, including firewall rule modifications.
• Conduct security risk assessments for new and existing solutions, applications, and architectures.
• Manage user access provisioning and control across business‑critical applications.
• Support internal and external technology audits by providing security expertise and documentation.
• Lead cybersecurity initiatives and implement security‑related projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience governing cloud‑based solutions with a strong security focus.
• Hands‑on experience with Privileged Access Management, preferably CyberArk.
• Experience coordinating outsourced security services, including vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Solid understanding of firewall administration, IDS/IPS, and network security controls.
• Ability to perform security risk assessments and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Strong documentation skills in English.
