Customer Funds Reconciliation and Safeguarding Specialist

About the role

Bridge Building S.A. is establishing a Luxembourg‑regulated EMI and CASP and needs a specialist to manage safeguarding controls for customer funds, both fiat and digital assets. The role ensures daily reconciliations, handles exceptions, and keeps audit‑ready documentation, supporting strong operational discipline and reliable reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily safeguarding calculations and reconcile customer liabilities with safeguarding accounts or wallets within defined timelines.
• Identify and investigate reconciliation breaks, coordinate remediation with Operations, Engineering, Finance and banking partners, and maintain a log of exceptions and root causes.
• Maintain safeguarding policies, procedures, runbooks and evidence packs to ensure continuous audit readiness.
• Collaborate with banking partners and custodians to secure statement availability, align cut‑offs and support contingency procedures.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce manual effort and operational risk.
• Develop and monitor KPIs and dashboards that track safeguarding performance and exceptions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in payments operations, reconciliations, safeguarding or finance controls; experience with EMI/PI and crypto is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to operate daily controls under tight deadlines with rigorous evidence discipline.
• Fluent English communication skills.
