Senior Controller

About the role

Invesco is seeking a highly skilled Senior Controller to join its institutional private markets team. The role focuses on financial reporting, fund administration, forecasting, and analysis for real estate and private credit investment vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Manage relationships with third‑party fund administrators and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting, NAV calculations, capital calls, distributions and investor reporting.
• Coordinate fund‑related matters such as acquisitions, dispositions and investor flows with external parties.
• Review and approve fund‑level financial statements, management fees, waterfalls, capital flows and valuations.
• Monitor compliance with fund governing documents and support fund lifecycle events.
• Maintain and enhance internal accounting policies in line with GAAP, IFRS and other standards.
• Provide input on fund structures, valuation and NAV methodologies, and assist with investor RFP/DDQs.
• Oversee accounting for carry vehicles, credit facility management, covenant tracking and debt sizing.
• Lead financial and tax due‑diligence, performance return calculations and financial analysis for strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented professional with deep expertise in real estate and private credit investment accounting.
• Strong understanding of fund structures, regulatory compliance and investor reporting.
• Proven ability to act as a liaison between internal teams and external administrators.
