Communications Specialist

About the role

ispace Europe is looking for a strategic, creative, and execution‑oriented Communications Specialist to strengthen the company’s market presence across EMEA and contribute to the global narrative. Reporting to the EU Business Director, you will shape communications strategy, manage media relations and drive integrated campaigns that support the company’s lunar exploration mission.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously evolve an overarching communications strategy aligned with corporate goals, in partnership with the regional CEO, EU Business Director and government affairs team.
• Translate business priorities, key messaging and value propositions into integrated communications plans for European and country‑level audiences.
• Design and execute media, social media and PR campaigns, including content creation, press releases and coordination with external communications partners.
• Lead influence campaigns targeting European institutions, space agencies, government bodies, industry partners, investors, research organisations, media and ecosystem influencers.
• Craft compelling narratives around lunar transportation, data services, commercial space and public‑private cooperation.
• Coordinate with ispace Inc. Communications and global communications teams to ensure alignment of messaging, brand identity and stakeholder communications.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in strategic communications, corporate communications or public relations, preferably within the commercial space or high‑tech sector.
• Proven track record of developing and executing integrated communication and PR campaigns across EMEA.
• Strong understanding of European institutional and industry landscapes.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; additional language skills are a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
