CloudOps Engineer

About the role

CTG IT Solutions is seeking a CloudOps Engineer to join its team supporting the European Institutions in Luxembourg. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, resilient AWS cloud environments and associated CI/CD pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop AWS CloudFormation templates and Terraform code to deploy web applications.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using GitLab CI and Flux CD pipelines.
• Create and manage Amazon CloudWatch dashboards for proactive monitoring.
• Provide Level 3 operational support for cloud infrastructure, automation, and deployments.
• Administer AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, etc.) ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost‑efficiency.
• Administer GitLab and Gitaly instances, including central runners, to guarantee performance and security.
• Define standardized deployment and release processes, integrating DevSecOps practices such as QA testing, DAST and security scanning.
• Troubleshoot complex build and deployment issues to minimise downtime.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of hands‑on experience in cloud operations, DevOps, and infrastructure management.
• Strong command of English and French.
• Relevant certifications (AWS SysOps Administrator, ITIL Foundation).
