About the role

GBT Solutions is seeking a CloudOps / AWS DevOps Engineer to join its Luxembourg team. The role focuses on operating and scaling large‑scale, high‑availability cloud platforms while ensuring security and automation across the stack.

Key responsibilities

Operate and optimise AWS services such as EC2, EKS, ECS, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, VPC and CloudWatch.
Design, build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and CloudFormation.
Manage Kubernetes workloads on EKS, including Helm charts, GitOps workflows and autoscaling.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitLab runners.
Automate deployments and cloud operations with Python and Bash scripts.
Implement monitoring, alerting, incident response and DevSecOps controls (IAM, KMS, WAF, CloudTrail, scanning tools).
Provide L3 support in a mission‑critical environment.

Required profile

7+ years of experience in CloudOps, DevOps, SRE or cloud engineering.
Strong hands‑on experience with AWS (EKS mandatory).
Proven expertise with Terraform, CloudFormation and GitLab CI/CD.
Deep knowledge of Kubernetes operations.
Solid scripting skills in Python and Bash.
Experience in high‑availability or enterprise environments.
