Client Relationship Manager

About the role

The Client Relationship Manager (CRM) will be the primary point of contact for assigned institutional clients of a Luxembourg‑based investment fund manager. The role blends relationship management, operational coordination and project oversight to ensure seamless service delivery across portfolio, risk, compliance and legal functions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with high‑value clients, understanding their strategic and operational needs.
• Act as the main liaison between clients, delegates, third‑party providers and internal teams (portfolio management, risk, compliance, legal, operations).
• Provide consistent, high‑quality communication, promptly addressing queries and resolving issues.
• Conduct regular service review meetings or calls with clients and relevant internal departments.
• Support client reporting and preparation of board meeting materials, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Identify cross‑selling opportunities and assist in business‑development initiatives.
• Oversee fund lifecycle events such as launches, mergers, liquidations, migrations and share‑class changes.
• Prepare, review and implement Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in line with contractual and regulatory obligations.
• Communicate project updates to stakeholders and flag potential operational or compliance risks.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 4–8 years of experience in a Management Company (ManCo) or AIFM.
• Strong understanding of Luxembourg UCITS and AIF structures and the applicable regulatory framework (AIFMD, UCITS, CSSF Circular 18/698).
• Excellent organizational, analytical and problem‑solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.
• Native‑level English proficiency.
