Chef de Rang – Front‑of‑House Service Professional

About the role

Jane is a modern European restaurant located in the GRID X destination in Wickrange. We are looking for a Chef de Rang to join our floor team and deliver an exceptional guest experience from the moment guests are seated until the end of their meal. The role starts in mid‑October and may include accommodation.

Key responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders accurately and confidently.
• Guide guests through the menu with product knowledge and enthusiasm.
• Provide fluid, polished service while maintaining a natural rhythm.
• Monitor tables throughout the meal, anticipating needs before they are expressed.
• Handle last‑minute adjustments and guest feedback professionally.
• Maintain a clean, well‑organized station and adhere to hygiene standards.
• Support colleagues across all roles to ensure smooth, team‑driven service.
• Adopt a “yes‑first” mindset and consistently go above and beyond.

Required profile

• Experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory; the right attitude is essential.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; a charismatic, emotionally intelligent team player.
• Warm, calm, and attentive with both guests and colleagues.
• Curiosity about food and wine and a willingness to learn.
• Fluent in French or English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Familiarity with HACCP standards and clean working practices.
