Business Intelligence Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Business Intelligence Analyst to turn raw data into actionable insights that support strategic decisions across the organisation. The role works closely with business stakeholders, IT teams and data engineers to design, develop and maintain dashboards, reports and data models.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain regular and ad‑hoc reports covering sales, customer, operational and performance metrics.
• Build analytical models to evaluate key business elements.
• Manage and maintain database flows in in‑house systems such as SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Collaborate with the IT department to create new data sets or KPIs when required.
• Support the Business Intelligence and Controlling department during budget and forecast cycles.
• Ensure data integrity by validating master data and newly created data sets.

Required profile

• University degree in economics, finance, accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar analytical role.
• Strong autonomous work style with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills in English; German or French is a plus.
• Team player comfortable interacting with multiple data providers and internal customers.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL and JavaScript for data processing.
• Experience with SAP (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud) is advantageous.
• Financial modelling and analysis experience.
