Business Intelligence Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Business Intelligence Analyst to turn raw data into actionable insights that support strategic decisions across the organisation. You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams and data engineers to design, develop and maintain dashboards, reports and data models.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain regular and ad‑hoc reports covering sales, customer, operational production and performance metrics.
• Build analytical models to evaluate key business elements.
• Manage database flows in in‑house systems such as SAP SAC and ensure data quality.
• Coordinate with the internal IT department to create new data sets or KPIs.
• Support the Business Intelligence and Controlling department during budget and forecast cycles.
• Validate newly created data sets and guarantee master‑data accuracy.

Required profile

• University degree in economics, finance, accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar analytical role.
• Strong autonomy, ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with multiple data providers.
• Fluent written and spoken English; German or French is a plus.
• Team‑player attitude and good communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (Excel+).
• Programming in Python, SQL and JavaScript.
• Experience with SAP SAC or other SAP tools.
• Financial modelling and analysis capabilities.
