Business Data Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Business Data Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and IT solutions. You will lead project coordination, functional analysis, and support the delivery of high‑value data initiatives in a regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements, formalising functional specifications.
• Develop and monitor project plans, including milestones, deliverables and dependencies.
• Coordinate interactions between business and IT teams, tracking development progress and escalating risks.
• Lead project governance meetings such as steering committees and review sessions.
• Define functional scope, produce documentation and develop test scenarios for UAT.
• Support users during testing, validate deliverables and provide post‑production functional support.
• Ensure smooth communication among stakeholders and produce regular progress reports.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement and propose high‑value solutions.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent (Master’s / Bac+5).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in BI/Data projects as a Functional Consultant, Business Analyst or Project Manager.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a demanding environment.
• Strong autonomy, initiative and proactive problem‑solving mindset.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills in both French and English.
• Experience in financial services or other regulated sectors is a plus.
