BMC Package Application Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a BMC Package Application Specialist to lead the implementation and ongoing support of BMC IT Service Management solutions. The role involves configuring, customizing, and upgrading BMC products while ensuring seamless integration with PeopleSoft and other enterprise systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and configure BMC ITSM (version 9.1 or later) to meet business requirements.
• Create detailed design and implementation documentation.
• Facilitate workshops to collect setup data and translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Configure BMC Remedy, Smart IT/Digital Workplace, and related tooling.
• Participate in project development, including customization, bug fixing, and technical design.
• Integrate PeopleSoft applications with BMC products using web‑service technologies.
• Manage technical upgrades, server installations, patches, and system maintenance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in BMC Remedy and ITSM implementation.
• Proven experience integrating BMC solutions with PeopleSoft.
• Strong understanding of integration architecture and web‑service based integration.
• Solid business analysis capabilities.
