Assistant Manager Finance - Real Estate Investments

About the role

The client, a leading global investment manager, is expanding its Luxembourg platform and seeks an Assistant Manager Finance to work across fund and property finance in Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Review property‑level financial statements for real estate assets across the UK and Europe.
• Prepare and review financial statements for Luxembourg entities, including Luxembourg GAAP to US GAAP conversion.
• Manage cash flows and payments for European holding entities, coordinating with the banking team.
• Liaise with auditors, legal, tax, corporate secretarial and asset management teams across Europe.
• Support acquisitions, disposals, leases, capital commitments, tax filings, SOX and internal audit requirements.
• Analyse reconciliations, prepare journal entries and improve processes and controls.
• Assist with new transactions, system changes and technology‑driven process improvements.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in fund or real‑estate finance, preferably within an investment or real‑estate company, service provider or Big 4 environment.
• Degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Good knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP and Luxembourg tax regulations.
• Experience with US GAAP conversion; Yardi experience is a plus.
• Fluent English; additional European languages are a plus.
