AI & Data Analytics Specialist

About the role

As part of the Internal Audit function at Quintet Private Bank, the AI & Data Analytics Specialist will provide independent assurance over the use of artificial intelligence, advanced analytics and data‑driven solutions across the Group. The role combines data engineering expertise with audit and risk management in a highly regulated financial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the execution of audits covering AI models, algorithms and data pipelines.
• Assist continuous‑auditing initiatives to enhance risk coverage.
• Assess the design and effectiveness of controls throughout the AI lifecycle.
• Review model development, validation and monitoring practices.
• Design and execute data‑driven audit procedures such as transaction analysis and anomaly detection.
• Develop AI/ML use cases supporting audits (AML, payments, KYC).
• Extract, clean and analyse large datasets using SQL and Python.
• Build reusable analytics tools and scripts.
• Translate technical outputs into clear audit insights for senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• MSc in Engineering, Data Science, AI, Applied Mathematics or a related field.
• Ability to challenge and question complex models and processes.
• Structured and pragmatic problem‑solving approach.
• Clear, structured communication skills; able to explain technical results in business terms.
• Strong critical‑thinking abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of large language models (LLMs) and generative AI tools.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation.
• Experience with MS Office suite.
