Advanced Quality Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Advanced Quality Engineer to join our Advanced Quality Engineering Department. You will act as the main quality liaison for IEE customers throughout development and serial production, ensuring that all quality requirements are met.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for customers on quality‑related topics.
• Handle customer complaints and organise follow‑up audits.
• Identify and minimise quality risks, field actions, warranty and scrap costs.
• Ensure customer quality requirements are known, documented and fulfilled.
• Plan, coordinate and implement quality measures during product and process development.
• Confirm traceability from requirements to validation and drive reviews of technical documentation.
• Lead quality activities during product industrialisation and support verification methods.

Required profile

• University degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of automotive experience in advanced quality activities.
• Experience with electronics systems product development.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, APQP, FMEA, FTA and risk assessment.
• Familiarity with Automotive SPICE and basic functional safety concepts.
• Proficiency in 8D problem‑solving methods (5‑Why, Ishikawa, flowcharts, Pareto, brainstorming, histograms).
• Strong statistical analysis skills.
• Requirements management tools such as DOORS.
• Understanding of V‑model development lifecycles and verification methods.
