Accounting Manager – German Speaker (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager who is fluent in German to join a leading fiduciary firm in Luxembourg. The role is fully remote and combines team leadership with a strong client‑facing dimension, allowing you to mentor colleagues while building trusted relationships with a diversified portfolio of entities.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison for clients, ensuring reliable, responsive service.
• Lead, coach and support a team of around five accountants, including remote staff, fostering transparent communication.
• Oversee accounting for SPVs, holding companies, SOPARFIs, and private‑equity/real‑estate structures, reviewing work produced by the team.
• Coordinate the full cycle of annual financial statements, from trial balance to statutory closing.
• Prepare, review and validate corporate income‑tax and VAT filings, collaborating with tax experts when needed.

Required profile

• Minimum six years of accounting experience in Luxembourg, preferably within a fiduciary, PFS or Big Four environment.
• Fluent German with strong French or English language skills.
• Proven experience managing or supervising a team, balancing leadership with hands‑on involvement.
• Solid knowledge of SPV structures and investment vehicles, including investment funds.
