Accountant – Fixed-Term (Luxembourg)

About the role

Broad Street Luxembourg is seeking a motivated Accountant to cover a parental‑leave replacement. This fixed‑term position offers the chance to work within a diverse, international environment linked to the Goldman Sachs group while maintaining a healthy work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
• Prepare interim and annual accounts, as well as monthly and quarterly reports.
• Perform GAAP reconciliations across US GAAP, UK GAAP, Luxembourg GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Calculate tax provisions and review tax returns.
• Liaise with external parties such as tax advisors, auditors, joint‑venture partners, asset managers and property managers.
• Coordinate with internal and international Goldman Sachs departments.
• Respond to accounting queries and handle administrative compliance, filing and distribution memorandums.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of Luxembourg experience in accounting, audit or financial control, preferably with private‑debt investment exposure.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Team‑player with a hands‑on, independent and detail‑oriented approach.
• Good organizational abilities and flexibility to adapt to change.
