Account Manager Intern, Private Banking

About the role

ING Luxembourg is looking for an Account Manager Intern to join its Private Banking Department from December 2026 for a minimum of 6 months. Within the Private Banking team, you will support a team of Private Bankers in a high-end environment, providing administrative, regulatory and client service support. You will be progressively involved in interactions with High Net Worth clients and act as a key interface between Private Bankers, clients and internal back-office teams. Only candidates who can provide a valid school internship agreement will be considered.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative and client service support to Private Bankers
• Support the follow-up of regulatory and KYC requirements, including documentation, client files and periodic reviews
• Support client onboarding, monitoring documentation, coordinating with internal stakeholders and tracking progress until completion
• Support interactions with UHNW clients with a high level of professionalism and discretion
• Act as a liaison between the front office, clients and back-office teams
• Assist in preparing, following up and quality controlling client documentation
• Contribute to a high standard of service delivery within the Private Banking team

Required profile

• Currently pursuing university studies in economics, finance or an equivalent field
• Strong interest in Private Banking and wealth management
• Good understanding of, or interest in, regulatory and KYC frameworks
• Client-oriented mindset, excellent communication and presentation skills, strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Professional attitude, discretion and attention to detail
• Fluent in English and French; another language, especially Dutch, is an asset
