Young Talent Program – Business Analyst

About the role

escent is launching a 15‑to‑18‑month Young Talent Program for recent graduates or professionals with up to 18 months of experience. You will be placed on a client project in Brussels, working on digital transformation initiatives within the financial and banking sectors. The program combines hands‑on consulting work with continuous training and mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Support client engagements by performing business and functional analysis for IT transformation projects.
• Assist in process modelling, requirement gathering, and stakeholder communication.
• Contribute to agile delivery teams, participating in sprint planning and review sessions.
• Collaborate with senior consultants to ensure high‑quality deliverables and client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Economics, Finance or a related field.
• Maximum of 18 months experience in business analysis, finance, process or project management, or a first role in an operational/IT position within finance, banking or insurance.
• Strong interest in financial services, technology and digital transformation.
• Fluent in English and French; Luxembourgish is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence or similar collaboration tools.
• Analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
