Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Specialist to design, implement and support enterprise‑scale virtual workplace solutions. The role is based in Luxembourg and follows a hybrid working model with two remote days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support enterprise VDI and Terminal Server environments.
• Ensure platform availability, performance and security.
• Package, test and deploy applications using MSI and App‑V.
• Administer Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops and Citrix ADC (NetScaler) environments.
• Maintain VMware Horizon, ESXi and vCenter infrastructures.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, operations and security teams.
• Support modernization and digital workplace transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in VDI design, deployment and support.
• Strong expertise with Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (XenApp/XenDesktop).
• Hands‑on experience with Citrix ADC (NetScaler).
• Proven experience with VMware Horizon, ESXi and vCenter.
• Solid knowledge of Windows 11, Windows Server and Linux administration.
• Experience with MSI packaging, App‑V and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or Google Cloud).
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Professional English proficiency (C1+).
