Transportation Technician

About the role

The Transportation Technician will support the safe and compliant movement of hazardous and classified materials for the NATO Support and Procurement Agency. The role involves applying regulatory knowledge, managing transport contracts, and ensuring quality control throughout the logistics chain.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor transportation of hazardous and classified cargo.
• Ensure compliance with Foreign Military Sales, Direct Commercial Sales, ITAR and EAR regulations.
• Manage transportation contracts and oversee compliance procedures.
• Conduct quality control checks and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve logistical issues.

Required profile

• Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum three years of experience in hazardous or classified material transportation.
• Understanding of NATO and international export control frameworks.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and adapt to expatriate conditions.
