Test Technician – Electronics & Mechanical Testing

About the role

We are looking for a Test Technician to join our Test Methodology & Laboratories department. You will work on preparing samples, executing defined test procedures and documenting results to ensure product quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare samples and carry out defined test procedures.
• Document all tests, report deviations and record test conditions.
• Evaluate test results against pass/fail criteria and report to the responsible test engineer.
• Train new colleagues, maintain training records and create basic assembly, setup and test instructions.
• Identify and report unsafe equipment or behaviour, propose process improvements and adhere to documentation, 5S, safety and logistics standards.
• Coordinate maintenance of test resources (CT, MT) and support hardware electrical lab by building test boards and assembling PCB components.
• Perform tests at customer sites or external service providers when required.

Required profile

• Technical degree in electronics or mechanics (BAC Technique) with several years of experience in a technical role.
• Good mechanical and/or electrical hands‑on skills, basic electronics knowledge and soldering ability.
• Understanding of international automotive testing standards is a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and independent work attitude.
• Fluency in English; German or French is an asset.
