Tax Manager / Senior Manager – Tax Technical Team

About the role

KPMG Luxembourg is looking for a Tax Manager or Senior Manager to join its Tax Technical Team. This non‑client‑facing position supports internal service teams by delivering high‑quality tax guidance and fostering knowledge sharing across the firm.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare internal firm positions and tax technical guidance to improve the consistency of tax deliverables.
• Conduct in‑depth tax research, gather data from multiple sources, and collaborate with service teams and subject‑matter experts.
• Share the latest tax developments, draft concise summaries, and organise training sessions and related materials.
• Support the implementation of innovative search and knowledge‑sharing tools.
• Provide technical input for KPMG marketing materials, tax alerts and external professional organisations.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of relevant tax experience in Luxembourg.
• Strong analytical ability and experience interpreting tax case law.
• Understanding of the tax function’s business targets and alignment with firm strategy.
• Team player with curiosity, innovation mindset and pragmatic results orientation.
• Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills.
• Well‑organized with solid project‑management capabilities.
• Fluent in English; French is a strong advantage.
