System Engineer – Business Line SESAM

About the role

We are seeking a System Engineer to join our Business Line SESAM at IEE. In this role you will act as the technical lead across software, hardware, testing and production disciplines, ensuring project milestones are met and delivering high‑quality automotive electronic systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams (software, hardware, testing, production) to achieve project milestones.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for customers, clarifying requirements and translating them into system specifications.
• Perform system and performance modelling, identify risks and define mitigation solutions.
• Design system architecture, partition it into subsystems and oversee product validation with the testing department.
• Conduct calculations, produce technical reports and maintain continuous communication with team members.

Required profile

• Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, physics or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in an automotive environment.
• Strong knowledge of capacitive measurement physics and electronics development (hardware and software).
• Proven ability to identify technical risks and produce clear documentation.
• Fluent English; German or French is a plus.
