Structural Analysis Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Structural Analysis Engineer to join a leading provider of transport solutions. The role focuses on numerical simulations and technical validation of highly engineered metal structures for demanding industrial applications.

Key responsibilities

• Perform finite element analysis (FEM) to evaluate strength, stability and durability of metal components.
• Define load cases based on real operating conditions and apply relevant design standards such as Eurocode.
• Handle the full simulation workflow: modelling (pre‑processing), running solvers, and post‑processing results.
• Prepare detailed calculation notes and technical reports.
• Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing and R&D teams to ensure design consistency.
• Contribute to component standardisation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in mechanical engineering, civil engineering or a related field.
• Experience with structural analysis and FEM tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus, SolidWorks Simulation).
• Strong knowledge of mechanics and dynamics.
• Familiarity with industrial standards such as Eurocode.
• Good command of English; knowledge of French or German is a plus.
