Sensor Operator

About the role

CAE Aviation is seeking Sensor Operators to support airborne surveillance missions for government and commercial clients. Operators will work on international assignments, often on a rotational schedule away from home, and must be able to obtain the required security clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor sensor suites on aircraft during ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance) missions.
• Collect, process and transmit data to ground stations in real time.
• Ensure mission compliance with client requirements and safety standards.
• Coordinate with flight crew and mission planners to adapt sensor settings as needed.

Required profile

• Flexibility to work on rotational deployments in various international locations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Strong analytical mindset and effective communication skills.
• Team‑oriented attitude and interest in advanced IT equipment.

Required skills

• Broad experience with ISR systems.
