Senior Tax Compliance Officer – Work Closely With Management

About the role

We are recruiting a Senior Tax Compliance Officer for a well‑established Luxembourg fiduciary. The role combines technical tax expertise with a close partnership with management to ensure high‑quality tax services for a sophisticated client base.

Key responsibilities

• Review corporate tax and VAT returns prepared by accounting teams, guaranteeing compliance with Luxembourg legislation and internal standards.
• Serve as the technical reference for colleagues, providing guidance on complex tax matters and sharing expertise.
• Collaborate with the Head of Tax on challenging client files, tax analyses, and the implementation of best practices.
• Monitor legislative developments, assess their impact on clients and internal procedures, and keep the firm’s tax practices up‑to‑date.
• Assist in preparing tax advice and resolving complex issues related to SOPARFIs, holdings, and other commercial or financial entities.
• Maintain relationships with tax authorities and external stakeholders to deliver a high level of client service.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of experience in Luxembourg taxation, preferably within a fiduciary or corporate service provider.
• Strong technical knowledge of Luxembourg corporate tax, especially for commercial companies, SOPARFIs, holdings and financial structures.
• Fluent in French and English; German is a significant advantage.
• Comfortable reviewing the work of others, identifying technical issues and providing constructive guidance.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
