Senior Tax Compliance Officer – Work Closely with Management

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Tax Compliance Officer to join a well‑established Luxembourg fiduciary. The role involves reviewing corporate tax and VAT returns, providing technical guidance, and supporting the accounting teams while working closely with senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Review corporate tax and VAT returns prepared by accounting teams to ensure compliance with Luxembourg legislation and internal standards.
• Act as a technical reference, advising colleagues on complex tax matters and sharing expertise.
• Collaborate with the Head of Tax on challenging client files, tax analyses, and best‑practice implementation.
• Monitor legislative developments and assess their impact on clients and internal procedures.
• Prepare tax advice and resolve complex issues for SOPARFIs, holdings, and other commercial or financial entities.
• Maintain relationships with tax authorities and external stakeholders as required.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of experience in Luxembourg taxation, preferably within a fiduciary or corporate service provider.
• Strong knowledge of Luxembourg corporate tax, VAT, and transfer pricing, especially for commercial companies, SOPARFIs, and holdings.
• Fluent in French and English; German is a significant advantage.
• Proven ability to review work of others, identify technical issues, and provide constructive guidance.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
