Senior Tax Compliance Officer – Work Closely With Management

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Tax Compliance Officer to join a well‑established Luxembourg fiduciary. The role combines technical tax expertise with a close partnership with management, ensuring high‑quality tax services for a sophisticated client base.

Key responsibilities

• Review corporate tax and VAT returns prepared by accounting teams, guaranteeing compliance with Luxembourg legislation and internal standards.
• Serve as a technical reference, advising colleagues on complex tax matters and sharing best practices.
• Collaborate with the Head of Tax on challenging client files, tax analyses, and departmental improvements.
• Monitor legislative developments and assess their impact on clients and internal procedures.
• Prepare tax advice and resolve complex issues related to SOPARFIs, holdings, and other commercial or financial entities.
• Maintain relationships with tax authorities and external stakeholders to deliver a high level of service.

Required profile

• 4‑8 years of experience in Luxembourg taxation, preferably within a fiduciary or corporate service provider.
• Strong knowledge of Luxembourg corporate tax, VAT, transfer pricing and SOPARFI structures.
• Fluent in French and English; German is a significant advantage.
• Comfortable reviewing the work of others, identifying technical issues and providing constructive guidance.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
