Senior Software Engineer – Remote

About the role

This contract position offers a senior software engineer the chance to shape next‑generation AI training workflows from anywhere in the world. You will apply deep technical expertise to improve how AI models learn, reason, and perform using real‑world code inputs.

Key responsibilities

• Fix bugs, implement features, refactor code, and optimise performance across multiple programming languages.
• Analyse and improve codebases for clarity, maintainability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary, remote teams to provide feedback that enhances AI model quality.
• Develop robust solutions and document best practices for scalable AI training pipelines.
• Assess existing architecture and recommend technical strategies for optimal results.
• Communicate technical findings and project progress clearly in written and verbal form.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering maintainable software and debugging complex issues.
• Strong ability to work autonomously and within cross‑functional remote teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
• Track record of performance tuning and scalability improvements.

Required skills

• Python, Java, Rust, TypeScript (any one required; additional experience in C++ or Go is a strong asset).
• Deep understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Performance optimisation and code refactoring expertise.
