Senior Python Software Engineer

About the role

AlphaOmega is seeking a Senior Python Software Engineer to join its Mystic Back‑End Team. You will work on a scalable, distributed platform that generates millions of regulatory reports for European fund clients. The role focuses on building reliable automation tools and improving system performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python‑based back‑end services deployed on an OpenShift cluster.
• Collaborate with developers, engineers, and business teams to deliver high‑quality features that meet regulatory and client requirements.
• Write clean, testable, and reusable code and ensure comprehensive documentation.
• Participate in continuous delivery pipelines, orchestrating deployments and monitoring production systems.
• Handle large data flows, integrating sources into the data warehouse built on MSSQL, MongoDB and Amazon S3.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of professional experience in Python development and system architecture.
• Experience with distributed, client‑facing SaaS products and continuous software delivery.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.
