Senior Project Manager – Oracle HCM Implementation (Contract)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the planning phase of a complex Oracle Cloud HCM transformation in Luxembourg. The main deliverable is a comprehensive Project Charter that defines scope, resources, timeline, and governance for the implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Assess existing PeopleSoft HCM documentation, functional gaps, and dependencies.
• Strategise an activity‑based planning approach using market best practices.
• Engage HR and GIS stakeholders to validate constraints and expectations.
• Develop a detailed Project Charter aligned with PM² standards, covering objectives, governance, stakeholder matrix, risk assessment, resource profiles, and deliverable acceptance.
• Refine the charter based on executive feedback to secure approval for resource procurement.

Required profile

• Recognised project‑management certification (PM², PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile).
• Minimum 10 years of project‑management experience, including at least 5 years in HR transformation or HRIS implementation.
• Proven hands‑on experience managing multi‑module Oracle Cloud HCM projects.
• Experience replacing legacy HR systems such as PeopleSoft, covering payroll, recruitment, absence, and benefits.
• Strong track record of producing planning‑phase artefacts (charters, work plans, risk matrices, communication strategies).
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
