Senior Project Manager / Business Analyst – Luxembourg

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager / Business Analyst to join a long‑term consulting mission in Luxembourg. The role acts as the bridge between the user community and the IT development team, driving functional evolutions, data migrations, and report specifications for a critical Fund Reporting Repository module.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between users and developers, managing all project communications and transition activities.
• Analyse user requirements, translate product backlogs into functional specifications, and design online reports for the Fund Reporting Repository.
• Identify data duplication, define data relocation to core applications, and conduct impact analysis for new tools.
• Develop KPI and progress reports, assess data quality, and coordinate end‑to‑end and non‑regression testing.
• Coordinate ticket and feature releases with the IT Owner and maintain project documentation, data glossary, and user guides.
• Assist in preparing data models and use cases for a new Middle Office solution for intermediate products.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Information Technology or a related field.
• Professional experience as a Project Manager or Business Analyst within a bank, investment fund, or financial institution.
• Deep knowledge of investment fund operations, risk‑sharing instruments, and front/middle/back‑office cash flows.
• Strong understanding of project management frameworks; PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent certifications are a plus.
