About the role
We are seeking a Software Architect to join our Embedded Data Processing and Algorithms department, focusing on Software Defined Vehicles. The role involves shaping high‑level distributed system architecture while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust automotive software.
Key responsibilities
- Create high‑level distributed system architecture aligned with business and technical constraints.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather functional and non‑functional requirements.
- Produce and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including diagrams and design specifications.
- Conduct code reviews to verify alignment with the architectural vision and quality standards.
- Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure robustness, reliability, and security of the software.
- Support optimal performance, scalability, and maintainability of the system.
- Work closely with other architects, developers, testers, and project managers for seamless integration and delivery.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- Professional experience in the automotive domain, specifically with Software Defined Vehicle concepts, HPC and Hypervisor technologies.
- Experience with AUTOSAR (Classic and Adaptive) and object‑oriented analysis and design.
- Strong analytical skills to resolve architectural issues and balance technical and business needs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written); German or French is a plus.
