Senior Manager, Data Team

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead our Data Services team in Luxembourg. This senior player‑manager role sits at the intersection of technical leadership, commercial delivery and client engagement, guiding a cross‑functional group of Data Scientists, Senior BI Engineers and Data Analysts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary data team, ensuring high‑quality delivery.
• Act as primary contact for internal stakeholders and external clients throughout project scoping, prioritisation, execution and impact assessment.
• Stay hands‑on by building, debugging and shipping data solutions when speed or complexity demands senior technical judgment.
• Drive commercial delivery and align data initiatives with business objectives.
• Leverage AI‑assisted tools to accelerate development while maintaining rigorous technical standards.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with deep fundamentals in data engineering, statistics and machine learning.
• Proven ability to manage teams while remaining technically active.
• Comfortable using modern AI tools to enhance productivity without compromising quality.
• Strong client‑facing skills and experience delivering data‑driven solutions in a commercial environment.
