Senior IT Corporate Support Officer

About the role

Luxtrust is seeking a motivated Senior IT Corporate Support Officer to join its growing team in Capellen, Luxembourg. Reporting to the Head of IT Operations, you will provide advanced technical support and help shape the company’s IT infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver second‑ and third‑level support for complex hardware, software and network incidents.
• Diagnose, resolve and document advanced technical issues.
• Maintain and upgrade servers, virtual environments and enterprise systems.
• Lead incident response, ensuring timely resolution of critical problems.
• Mentor junior support staff and contribute to knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with vendors and external service providers.
• Monitor system performance, enforce security best practices and update documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field (preferred).
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation or Microsoft Certified are a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Operating systems and system administration.
• Networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
• Server management, virtualization and cloud environments.
• Microsoft Active Directory, user and group management.
• Hardware troubleshooting (PCs, printers, peripherals).
• Microsoft Office Suite and common enterprise applications.
• Ticketing systems such as Jira or ServiceNow.
• IT security principles (password policies, phishing awareness, antivirus).
